Hi Sam,
Thank you for your comment. Does the stroller you have now have quite small wheels? Perhaps a more robust stroller with at least 12"wheels would make it easier to push. Considering the length of Dachshunds, they probably would be more comfortable in a larger cabin. We recommend the Retro Luxe or Sage both for a spacious cabin and easy manoeuvrability.
Hope this helps.
Hi I have 3 miniature dachshunds with different levels of mobility we have just come back from holidays with a stroller designed for two small dogs I would say chihuahuas we had to try and manage with great difficulty pushing all 3 of them in said stroller, so what would you suggest? We don’t want to struggle like that again, thanks. Sam
Hi Abi,
Thanks for your question. The Hercules or the Novel would be worth considering. What breed is your older dog? You can tape out the cabin dimensions on the floor and place them inside the area to get an idea how they would both fit in the cabin together. The Hercules is L78cm X W60 and the Novel is L80cm X W56cm. They are both great options for off road walking.
I am getting a labrador puppy and already have an older dog. I don’t want to leave puppy at home when we go out walking so considering a stroller. Thinking he’ll be using it until he is a year as I know he can’t have long walks until then either. Would a stroller be a good idea and what would you suggest please? We do a lot of off road walking as well as towns etc. Many thanks
Hi Kayla,
Thank for your comment. I’m so sorry to hear your Labrador is struggling. Most Labs are comfortable in the Hercules as it wide and fairly long to stretch out. It is surprisingly compact and easy to manouver. You can remove the rear wheels with a click of a button for easy storage in the car.
Hope this helps. Please let us know if we can assist you further.
